4parajon Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 Has anyone on here ever tried to e-mail or call them to complain?? Its impossible, there's just no contact info. There's not even a customer service contact, how arrogant is that. Whilst surfing for contact details (obviously using Google) I found a few websites just dedicated to the arrogance of Google and there lack of info about complaints. Not sure what to do now, I might try contacting the press and see if there interested. Not about there lack of "customer service" but of the nature of my complaint. I was quite prepared to ahve it out with them to see if they could explain themselves but they quite obviously dont care.

4parajon Posted September 24, 2009 Author Report Posted September 24, 2009 Get Anne Robinson involved mate on BBC watchdog There is an address and phone/fax number http://www.google.co.uk/intl/en/contact/ That was one of the pages I brought up in my search, but when you ring the number it asks you for everything bar customer service or complaints
stevepeanut Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 I went mental with them, cos both my escort and capri were on google images with clear readable shots of their reg plates. They were very apologetic and removed them
D-FENS Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 Can you give us some idea of the nature of your complaint mate .
4parajon Posted September 25, 2009 Author Report Posted September 25, 2009 I want an explanation as to why when you type into Google Earth it does'nt recognise Falkland Islands, but it recognises Islas Las Malvina's which is what the argentinians named the islands . We lost 258 people in re-taking those islands back from Argentina and I think its a bloody liberty.
D-FENS Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 I agree with your complaint 100% mate .Hope you or someone else can get it changed to Falklands .
FredTransit Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 Too right, that's a valid compliant!
Admin Vista Posted September 27, 2009 Admin Report Posted September 27, 2009 There is no such place as Islas Las Malvinas!
FredTransit Posted September 27, 2009 Report Posted September 27, 2009 I can only assume the Google programmers are Hispanic.....
Admin Mk2Jo Posted September 27, 2009 Admin Report Posted September 27, 2009 Good for you Jon I would fully back that complaint
