Did you leave a message ....???????

They have a LeMans LM600 screaming its tits off at 200mph and 700bhp and in the office the phone is ringing ... would you answer it ??

At the moment i think Steve G may be in Cheshire, but try his mobile anyways (cossymax posted the number) but if you ring the shop 01708 869 189 and leave a message they will get back to you

Just booked it up with sanspeed for tuesday.

They want me to fit the chokes myself and drive gingerly to bexelyheath though :?

Got back form sanspeed today. He fitted the 36mms but said there was no point keeping them, as my carbs are the old, old, old 40's and they would not like the 36s, as a run on the road proved. So stuck the 30's back in and had a tune up, giving me 130bhp (10 more) so fairly happy, just dissapointed about the chokes, on the look out for some slightly more modern 40's for my pinto now if anyone knows of any!!!

36mm chokes will work better in 45 than they will in 40's. They'll make for a nicer drive.

So if your going to change you carbs anyway it will be better to get 45's as Baz says.

This will also give you the oppertunaty to go bigger on the choke sizes if you ever decide to do more engine work.

Yeah, learnt all about his bda car and the pinto'd escort. Was very helpful and chatty, went through it step by step explaining what he was doing. 4 hours on the RR cost me 117.50 too so great service in my opinion
