fezza Posted December 29, 2006 Report Posted December 29, 2006 Its been a bit frustrating lately,ive been gagging to get around to the car as ive had couple of weeks off work over xmas,ive had the engine in for a good few weeks now and have been trying to get it stated with no luck,couldnt seem to get a spark so forked out for a new electronic ignition kit,fitted that and got spark,great i thought but still wouldnt start to be honest i almost lost my patients with it managed to finally get round there today for a bit with the main objective to try find out why it wont start turns out he leads were all on the wrong way round thats what i get for assuming they right put them all as they should be,made a quick adjustment to the dizzy and she fired into life needless to say i am over he fookin moon was a bit loud in a small garage with 45's and only the manifold fitted

bomber1 Posted December 29, 2006 Report Posted December 29, 2006 i spent all day trying to get mine going after droping the pinto in mine. tho everything was right. just wouldnt fire had my xrpoo jumping the escort. then it caught pinto on sidedraughs with just the manifold on it (couldnt wait for the full exhaust to go on) grinning like a chesire cat on hard drugs. tho it wasnt in a garage but all the neighbours knew it was running good work
fezza Posted December 29, 2006 Author Report Posted December 29, 2006 wicked, now get it on the road Well hopefully it will be sooner rather than later i spoke to my m8 John(100ejohn) earlier and has very kindly offered for me the use of the garage he works at(very understanding boss,lol),so fingers crossed i can get the car over there in the morning,get the last few bits done tomoz ready for the mot Tuesday so if all goes well i may be drivng it before the end of next week Nice to have great friends that will help you out time and time again
