MM77 Posted November 23, 2009 Report Posted November 23, 2009 I've just received an unpaid item strike for an item I bought 3days ago... Thats a bit much isnt it
Admin Vista Posted November 23, 2009 Admin Report Posted November 23, 2009 It does seem a little hasty but on the other hand, if you wanted it why did you wait 3 days to pay?
MM77 Posted November 23, 2009 Author Report Posted November 23, 2009 It does seem a little hasty but on the other hand, if you wanted it why did you wait 3 days to pay? Paypal decided to require "verification" again, so had to wait for those 2 amounts to be deposited into my account...
bortaf Posted November 23, 2009 Report Posted November 23, 2009 Didn't think you got the stike till the dispute was settled, in all my cases the non payer didn't get it till well over 2 weeks later, ebay wait for 4 days for the buyer to respond before deciding ? did you respond to the dispute ? actually the seller cant even start a dispute for 4 days after the end of the auction, how the hell did you get one after 3
paul capri Posted November 23, 2009 Report Posted November 23, 2009 yeah, the seller cant raise an unpaid item strike until 4 days after someone bought an rs2000 sump off me which was won midday on saturday, he bidden minutes before the end of the auction and he still hasn't paid for it. so f*ucking irritating!!!!!! Must admit i would have raised an unpaid item strike by now if i could. If he has problems paying for it then EMAIL ME!! not hard. sorry ebay is abit of a sore subject at the moment, the last THREE things in a row ive sold the buyers have backed out on!!!

SATURDAY!!!!!!!!! Its only monday, a bit harsh i think. I sell things on Ebay all the time and i always give them a week to pay before i even think about if they are messers or not.
paul capri Posted November 24, 2009 Report Posted November 24, 2009 yeah its alright if the winning bid was made days before the auction ends, but considering he waited until about 30 seconds from the end to bid and then didn't bother to pay, and he still hasn't paid or replied to my emails!! In my experience if they havn't paid in 2 days they won't at all. RS2000 alloy sump anyone?
Mrs O/H/C Posted November 24, 2009 Report Posted November 24, 2009 I have people bidding at the last few seconds..and i have done that myself too but have paid for a few items together after a few days. Patience..and stop bugging people for the money..some people might have to wait for payday etc I have 998 feedback and its 100%

Patience..and stop bugging people for the money..some people might have to wait for payday etc I have 998 feedback and its 100% Well I have to say if I buy something, I pay for it. If I want to send a cheque, I say so straight away. Ebay isn't for reserving things, it's a auction.
GT_Jim Posted November 26, 2009 Report Posted November 26, 2009 why can't people look at the postage of things too, I put my struts on collection only and now the guy is getting on at me because i dont have the time to drive to my parents and back (120 mile round trip) so he can get the couriered
