Just think Pip - if you buy a cheap cooker n washing machine with the insurance payout, it might leave you enough dosh to buy that slipper

I have to say I have smoke alarms (3 of them) and things to put out fires.... dotted around the house. Saying that I do leave my washing machine on when I'm out.
