Ste-V Posted December 20, 2009 Report Posted December 20, 2009 made me smile when I just checked the top40
2.8i Cossie Posted December 20, 2009 Report Posted December 20, 2009 you do realise simon owns both the record labels? you still lined his pockets.
jimbo Posted December 20, 2009 Report Posted December 20, 2009 you do realise simon owns both the record labels? you still lined his pockets. Wrong! Simon co-owns Syco, a subsidiary of SONY Music Entertainment UK Ltd. which is an affiliate company of SONY Music Entertainment Incorporated, of which Epic is a subsidiary, who RATM are signed to. Mr Cowell might have a finger in many pies, but not all of them.
over_head_cam Posted December 20, 2009 Report Posted December 20, 2009 Cowell probably made more money seeing as supporters of his tune will have been buying more to get the No1, and that's not an issue for me. He will make money whatever happens. I'm just glad that he has had his nose 'bloodied' by people who can't stand middle-of-the-road, soft ballady (is that a real word? ) stuff with no soul or heart. Joe will go on to make a fortune for Simon as all the others before him have so there will be no change there, but at least there is a No1 that takes more than 3 brain cells to listen to Shame it wasn't 'Bullet in...' ;)
