mk3cokebottle Posted January 1, 2010 Report Posted January 1, 2010 ffs why does everyone assume immediatly that any car that is a oval race car is nicked ??? these race shells have been around years and years and were bought for scrap money 50-100 i expect about 9-10 years ago and have been raced since ! its only recently that shells and escorts have been worth a fortune , if you look at the fabrication and the amount of differnet colours this car has been you will notice that its probably been a race car for several years not nicked beaten up with a hammer and built into a race car ! as for the price thats what its worth in the oval scene with the kit it has end of really . the fact it doesnt have a lock n barrel is because most track diss-allow them as the steering lock is attached to the steering column which is rather dodgy on an oval track if they lock on because none of these cars start on the key they are isolated push button starts they have just two wires a live and earth that run from the battery through the isolater and to the starter and engine earth point . sorry for ranting but if you think that shallow then maybe you should look into things and understand the history of oval racing before you comment or start a post about a dodgy car on ebay if i assumed evrey cheap car is nicked then i wouldnt make a good profit out of osf's

over_head_cam Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 I don't understand posts like this. People can form an opinion based on what they think and other people get upset instead of posting reasoned informed replies If it's not true, and you know the truth then don't worry about it
