I had a quiet week work wise anyway so stayed home and took the kids over to the park across the road, missus brought hot chocolate in a flask and shortbread and we stayed most of the day with friends !!!

No one seems to be driving around here roads are empty all the bread and milk sold out in the shops and no deliveries for more !!!!

I'm waiting for the phone to ring as soon as it starts to clear, hoping that many people will need jump starts, batteries and alternators, also heard that AA & Rac are looking to ask ex Patrols to work for them to clear the back log, so my ex AA van might come in handy yet again :lol:

I have a 4x4 which is no good in this weather as the roads are littered with cars driven by people who don't have a clue  last night was on way home in the snow, which was falling on a previously clear road, we were headed up a fairly steep hill, the car coming the other way down the hill, saw us coming up and pulled into the side of the road so we could get a run up the hill, which I thought was pretty sensible, I was following a people carrier, the driver spotted some people he knew on the pavement half way up and stopped to talk to them without indicating, he did so right opposite the car that had stopped to let us up the hill, blocking the road, ruining everyones momentum, and causing a traffic jam..... I don't think its the snow causing the traffic chaos

I couldn't be bothered to get the Capri out over the last week. Too much hassle getting it cleared an up the slope, in the limited time I had between work (and sledging :) )

So I've just had it sitting there like so

Ironically, I have been rebuilding a heater for it. This weather has motivated me to get it finished :D
