a 280 brooklands cappa, dark green!! stunning!!

 

i have just started training to be a london bus driver and while having a brew at 1 of the garages 2day i heard a rather throaty sound, turn round and theres 1 of the bus engineers driving a gorgeous 280! he stops gets out and then stands there posing for photos with a guy with a huge camera.

 

spoke to the guy briefly and he says he has had it 22 years and its just covered 29,000!!!! so i asked "i take it you r also a ford nut, like myself" and he replies " nah just drive it now and then but the guys made me take it to the brooklands show and then stitched me up with this photo shoot" and then carried on posing!

 

just thought i'd share the hi lite of 2day and my god what a motor

i was just setting up kit this morning ad saw a mk3 tina roll past with a throaty bark!!

 

i know from seeing it elsewhere its got one of them 8v DOHC sierra lumps in it on 45's

 

yesterday i saw a couple of traditional gypsies with a shetland pony and tiny cart roll past

 

followed by some muslim femal in burkah (ninja mask) behind the wheel of a whackin great 4x4
