Flo flex bushes... any good?

as title, or stick to a bigger brand like superflex?

Think they used to be deflex. Got deflex on my mk3 tina for last 5years and still look perfect

You get what you pay for put it that way, they still send out the wronge bushes most of the time and 30% of them need trimming to fit but they are cheap

 

I'm talking cortina here not really fitted floflex/deflex bushes on a regular basis to anything else but i have used them on most fords over the last few years but out of 15 odd sets i've fitted to cortinas the above is true

I have used floflex bushes in all 3 of my mk2 escorts and have got on fine with them but like bortaf said you do need to fiddle with them a bit some times !!! One thing that did piss me off a bit with them is

The ferrule that they suply with there mk2 escort tca bush kits are to long and have to be cut down to make them fit. I mesured them against a genuine motarcraft one i had and they were 3-4mm to long and prevent the bushes nipping up propley.

I have had 3 of there mk2 escort rear top shocker bush kits and none of them have fitted so i just have to use the orignal ford ones !!

ive got their stuff on the rear of my car couldnt fault them mate

had them on the capri (all round) for about 4 years now and still holding well
