i cant understand why petrol has been at £1.10 for so long and no fuss has been made, when it got to 90p years ago there was uproar

I'm finding the same. My salary increases have been 3% and 2.5% the last two years. Much better than 0% which most had.

It's still not enough though, so Im having to find other ways of making money such as jumping out of the company car scheme and getting an old volvo to knock about in for a while!

You got a pay rise !! I haven't had one for two years although I'm not complaining too much as I am grateful for my job. Luckily I have got work coming out of my arsehole but the company I work for is looking to make 3 or 4 people redundant according to the letter we got in our pay slips today :( I don't think I will be one of them, fingers crossed !!

there is no overtime at the moment which used to pay for me getting to work and let me have some free money but aslong as the ends meet i dont mind it being tight at the moment, as i said my brother got made redundant (when he was off with a broken wrist) and cant find any work at the moment, especially in the distance that he can travel seeing as his wrist needs another bone graft on

I was made Supervisor at work which meant a payrise, just in time for Social Services to change the way they dish out patients to Care Agencies. All the Agencies in Cornwall had to bring their prices down in line with Social Services prices, which a lot refused, but we didn't. We're 3rd on the list now so when the first 2 Agencies fill up then we can look forward to taking on some new patients....it's been a long time coming. I'm having to work 7 days a week every week just to keep my hours up and I can't manage 90 hours most months at the moment. So now I've become an Avon lady just to top up my wages

Got my pay cut by £150 this week and im having to do an extra 3 hours a day!! Im sure theres something wrong here :x

Deffo sounds like there is something wrong there  If I lost £150 a week something would have to go. Perhaps your company think you don't need to eat or something?
