What does the yellow tint actually do? i need some glasses for work, as an optional extra i can add yellow tints which would make em look cool but im not sure what purpose the yellow is for.... anyone know?

i'm led to believe it takes the glare out of bright lights seem to remember some cars having yellow light years ago well strangers to our shore any how..

I was told they somehow enhance vision in half light situations, the best way to confirm is walk into any optitions and ask :mrgreen:

Orange and yellow lenses increase both contrast and depth perception. They also increase color distortion. Yellow lenses are used by pilots, boaters, fishers, shooters, and hunters for their contrast enhancement and width perception properties

there is a bloke in work who has an eye condition which means bright lights hurt his eyes, he has yellow glasses as it cuts down the glare from the store lights

Im supposed to wear yellow lenses for driving at night, because i cant see if a car comes other way :oops: glare.......

 

Couple of guys in our workshop wear them....just cause they think they look cool......They don`t

my eyes are like that, bright light hurts my eyes, I wear sunglasses all year round
