cortinaman Posted March 16, 2010 Report Posted March 16, 2010 Just taken a look at the new Google Street View - and my Cortina is sitting on my drive! So I've just "reported a problem" (little button at the bottom of the Street View screen) and asked Google to remove my car from the view. No point advertising your car's location on the interweb.
Admin Mk2Jo Posted March 16, 2010 Admin Report Posted March 16, 2010 A few people on here have already had google delete the view of their house/driveway for the very same reason Thankfully, street view has not reached us yet
Noodles Posted March 16, 2010 Report Posted March 16, 2010 I only just found out they hav expanded the street view its got most of kent on it now

SebringRS Posted March 16, 2010 Report Posted March 16, 2010 Were contacting them sometime this week. On ours you can see the challenger and belvedere. And on my m8s drive you can see his Shelby GT350. And at another of our m8s work his Pop So there all going to be dissappearing soon
H.P.E harry Posted March 17, 2010 Report Posted March 17, 2010 No danger of that happening with mine as it has not seen daylight for nearly two years!!!
stuartp Posted March 17, 2010 Report Posted March 17, 2010 mine is on there but it's got the cover over it so i guess that's ok they must have driven up into our little estate recently though cos it wasn't on there last time i looked
tom28 Posted March 17, 2010 Report Posted March 17, 2010 ive had a look on it but you cant go down my road as its like a country driveway, i think its bit crap to be honest it only covers main roads, depends where you live, i live bit out in the sticks so its never gonna find me
Seldon Posted March 17, 2010 Report Posted March 17, 2010 Mine is on there....but down my Dad's drive, so if they drive there looking for something oldskool to nick they will have to make do with his Kia people carrier.

I guess they decided to come back and do the tiny streets later they might get to you one day
stuartp Posted March 17, 2010 Report Posted March 17, 2010 i just looked round the corner from my house as i have seen a nice old rover and there it is, they haven't even obscured the number plate on that one! reckon i'll pop round there and tell the fella

sab6024 Posted March 17, 2010 Report Posted March 17, 2010 They've got my brothers Mk2 Tranny and his Capper parked in the road outside our house
Mexico Posted March 17, 2010 Report Posted March 17, 2010 oh my god! thieves frikin paradise this! Just checked my house and lock up and I am not happy at all! I have asked them to be removed!
popeye Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 just checked mine, all ok but my sons gone out and left that FOOKING window open again...!!!!!
FredTransit Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 Well I am glad to see our house has been taken off, but a couple of ours are still seen up the road. They are not there any more, cos there was road works going on when the camera car passed, but there are still vans in the street, so could be seen if the scrotes took a little trip. We get enough grief from thieving scum, without being advertised on the internet. Time to hit the report button again I think.
davreeve Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 Yep, full frontal of car parked on my drive.
