Google Street View - check if you're car's on show!

Just taken a look at the new Google Street View - and my Cortina is sitting on my drive!

 

So I've just "reported a problem" (little button at the bottom of the Street View screen) and asked Google to remove my car from the view.

 

No point advertising your car's location on the interweb.

A few people on here have already had google delete the view of their house/driveway for the very same reason

 

Thankfully, street view has not reached us yet

Were contacting them sometime this week. On ours you can see the challenger and belvedere. And on my m8s drive you can see his Shelby GT350. And at another of our m8s work his Pop

 

So there all going to be dissappearing soon

ive had a look on it but you cant go down my road as its like a country driveway, i think its bit crap to be honest it only covers main roads, depends where you live, i live bit out in the sticks so its never gonna find me

Mine is on there....but down my Dad's drive, so if they drive there looking for something oldskool to nick they will have to make do with his Kia people carrier.

i thought that. we live in a little close (admittedly in london but still)

they had gone along the road at the end of our estate but hadn't gone into it. I guess they decided to come back and do the tiny streets later

i just looked round the corner from my house as i have seen a nice old rover and there it is, they haven't even obscured the number plate on that one!

Well I am glad to see our house has been taken off, but a couple of ours are still seen up the road. They are not there any more, cos there was road works going on when the camera car passed, but there are still vans in the street, so could be seen if the scrotes took a little trip. We get enough grief from thieving scum, without being advertised on the internet. Time to hit the report button again I think.
