zetecmk2 Posted March 21, 2010 Report Posted March 21, 2010 i took my escort in to work to replace the front kit after a lorry crushed me last year. both the a panels were shot, so i cut them out mat came over and we did both sides in 2 evenings....new manager starts on monday and all cars must be off site!! (i'm getting used to this!!) so today, i had to fit the bodykit.... the last kit was a ford one, and the fit was easy. this is a mickey mouse kit and didn't fit at all!! but i'm happy with that "oval racer" on the road look, so i made it as a 2 piece front tomorrow i will hopefully do some more, needs a few skims as the panels line up like shyte, but, considering i turned up at work today at midday, with no plans, ideas or anything, i'm pleased with the result!

Guest cortinamad-gonetoo Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 youve done a good job fixing it not sure on the indicaters trace the wire back see if theyre shorting somewhere or make sure theyre earthed well
gearbox100 Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 would it be bad earth if the front is now all fibreglass?
zetecmk2 Posted March 22, 2010 Author Report Posted March 22, 2010 i know it's a corroded terminal or indicator stalk, just hoped someone has had this problem, and could point me in a certain area. they worked fine last time i drove it...but that was 8 months ago!!! jesus....i hate car electrics!!!!
