yes, no?. Look this is not intended to compete with the C/Ford Tour, but to be an additional event for like minded ford petrol heads!,They do their tour in the spring why not do a Retro Ford Tour at the end of the summer?.

It doesnt have to be abroad !,there are lots of places in this country with quality roads and cracking scenery and this would also keep the costs down.

It could be the close of the summer show season? Its definately worth thinking about, who feels the same?

P.S.wales is nice, I loved north wales,and would like to see more!

What about a workshop tour there's loads of people/groups building cars. why not something along those lines.I know from talking to people at shows that they would like to see how and where these cars are being built. Plus it shows your average readers that there not all big buget high end cheque book cars. Some are but most are built at home or in barns between friends.

thanks Jo, I will give it try.I am glad to see that this has provoked a lot of interest !. I have had escorts for about 17years and I have not used my cars so much in years!last time they were used this much they were daily drivers!!.All the meets and events are great, however i just want more! and a weekend tour later in the year would be great.Old fords beer and like minded petrolheads is a cracking combination.
