My mk1 with xe lump, cage, buckets, suspension, brakes, wheels etc Everything declaird including my 8 points and the fact im only 22 £840 something a year fully comp. I was shocked to say the least. For some people that may seem cheep but i was amazed thay would incure me atall.
Danmex Posted January 6, 2007 Report Posted January 6, 2007 Is that as a second car? if not thats a pretty special quote
Admin Vista Posted January 6, 2007 Admin Report Posted January 6, 2007 Doesn't seem cheap to me, I have 2 uprated classics on 1 policy for less than half of that and my licence is almost as tainted as yours. So I guess it all depends on your perspective. It's official when faced with numbers like that I've decided grey hair is a small price to pay..........I like being old
minim4rt Posted January 6, 2007 Author Report Posted January 6, 2007 That is as a second car. Im wating to be older. Im geting there slowly every day.

Admin Vista Posted January 6, 2007 Admin Report Posted January 6, 2007 Ah see, the downside of all your 6 figure property values up there They're going up here too but you can still get a good size house for well under £150k Besides my location isn't exactly rural either.
Danmex Posted January 6, 2007 Report Posted January 6, 2007 Baldness, incontinence and trousers with elasticated waistbands, I'll take the more expensive insurance thanks
Admin Vista Posted January 6, 2007 Admin Report Posted January 6, 2007 Baldness, incontinence and trousers with elasticated waistbands, I'll take the more expensive insurance thanks I said old not dead/dying. At 36 I can still drink and party with the best of them (20 years practice as a sea going engineer). But I can do it without being ripped off for my car insurance
Danmex Posted January 6, 2007 Report Posted January 6, 2007 Soz that was unfortunate post timing not a dig at you personally, (allthough you are knocking on a bit )
mk14dr Posted January 6, 2007 Report Posted January 6, 2007 My insurance this year was £950 on a standard 1.1 escort. Thats on a classic policy with limited miles, iam only 21 with 7points, BUT it's up for renewal. So last night had a look on confused.com and found Unlimited miles, agreed valuation (something i think we all should have) for £250. laughing . I just wish id shopped around last year
louie bagel Posted January 6, 2007 Report Posted January 6, 2007 i went on adrian flux for an insurance quote for a unmodified 1.1 escort agreed valuation unlimited millage for just over £100 ace company i'm gonna use them for my other cars
