I wish they'd just get rid of bloody road tax and put the fuel up a touch more.

I have to tax 4 vehicles.

cortina - comes out couple of times a month in the summer

vitara - my run around, which gets used once a week

bandit1200 - few times a month

katana750 - few times a year

so I have to pay 4 lots of tax, and even on all 4 vehicles with the miles added up I never cover more than 10,000 miles a year. It winds me up having to tax them all. Especially on the katana, it might do 200 miles in 2010, so I dont want to tax it, but I have to, just for the odd time that it gets used

Ok so we may get free road tax - no promises - ok so we all vote con !!

Lets face it the only people who benefit from being in power is them ,they are all the same ,they dont give a stuff about the average man in the street and as far as classic car owners are concerned we are a very small fish in a very big pond .

As others have said ,its a shame the rolling tax wasnt kept -but look at the bigger picture ,the roads are falling apart ,the schools and nhs are a mess and as for local councils ,dont get me started on them .

There is no way on this planet that the road tax laws will change while we are in the debt this country is in.

Come on guys wake up !

Whoever said it about Thatcher was right; without having sold off all British Industry, the coal, the steel etc. there could be state provided jobs which'd help work our own way out of the recession and might instill a bit of what the country's been lacking for years, national pride [and no, I don't mean those BNP pricks].

If you believe either of their packs of lies, you're a mug. However, if you vote Conservative you'll be doing the lot of us over, you'll soon see why Labour was voted in after they're back.
