SLEEPY Posted April 16, 2010 Report Posted April 16, 2010 Trying to identify some 4 spokes that I have (H75AB1007-FA), can you remember which issue that feature was in. Thanks
Arfur Posted April 16, 2010 Report Posted April 16, 2010 The one I'm thinking of was a good 10 years ago! I'll have a look in a bit, Simon
bortaf Posted April 16, 2010 Report Posted April 16, 2010 not mine but here's a downloadable PDF with the differant types http://rapidshare.com/files/376528699/RS_alloys.pdf
SLEEPY Posted April 16, 2010 Author Report Posted April 16, 2010 Cheers bortaf, but if I remember correctly the Classic Ford feature had part numbers and everything, I've had a look through loads of back issues but cant find it. I know I've got it somewhere. Going by the PDF they could be RS2000 but not sure, Simon if you could find it and let me know what issue i would be most grateful.
bortaf Posted April 17, 2010 Report Posted April 17, 2010 Flat washer wheel nuts for RS, cone are for laser (6 inch wheels) going by that part number they are 1975 escort (AB= escort english) so should have a flat washer seat for the wheel nuts ? I thnk 75 will be 5 1/2 X 13 Not really an RS man TBH
SLEEPY Posted April 19, 2010 Author Report Posted April 19, 2010 flat washer 6 X 13 so could be RS but I'm not an RS man either
bortaf Posted April 20, 2010 Report Posted April 20, 2010 flat washer 6 X 13 so could be RS but I'm not an RS man either 6 inch are Mk2 i think that was out in 75, Mk1 would be dated earlyer wouldn't it cos it the first year of manufacture not the actuall year You never know they might be group 1 wheels or summink so a pic is best
SLEEPY Posted April 20, 2010 Author Report Posted April 20, 2010 Just took some pic's Cheers for any help
Admin Vista Posted April 20, 2010 Admin Report Posted April 20, 2010 Can you take a pic from the side that makes the shape of the spokes clearer? I'd say they were group 1 wheels but I'm not sure whether they're mk1 or 2 from that shot.
SLEEPY Posted April 20, 2010 Author Report Posted April 20, 2010 I thought grp 1 wheels were ribbed/strengyhened on the back of the spokes, too dark now so I will take some more pic's tomorrow. Thanks for your help
Admin Vista Posted April 21, 2010 Admin Report Posted April 21, 2010 They look like regular mk2 RS alloys to me in those shots
SLEEPY Posted April 23, 2010 Author Report Posted April 23, 2010 Cheers for that saves looking through more back issues.
