Atlas pinion seal nightmare

I have spent the whole day F-in around today

 

I want out this morning to remove the atlas pinion seal as

it's leaking

 

So after a hour of messing around out got the seal out

want to replace it and the seal the shop gave me was wrong

want back sorry can't get the one u want

 

So I drive to work (ford main dealers)

yes I'll get u one by 3oclock

 

Get a call it's in go and get it wrong one

 

And take it back sorry we can't get the one u want

 

go on the inter new and try three other places

 

No one pics up the phone.

 

Can anyone help me.

 

I need I pinion oil seal for a atlas axle really need it the weekend

Tried him this morning left a message for him to call back and nothing

Is the seal anything special?, if its a just a normal lip seal of specific sizes its probably available from a bearing supplier for a few pence, if it has a outer steel ring you can normally use a normal seal, check to see if there is a stop for the seal to push up to, if not, just make sure you dont knock the seal in too far.
