Don't know m8, not a fan of bike carbs. They belong on 1 litre engines if you ask me.

Thats why I suggest getitng the biggest you can. Perhaps from a Yam R1 (early ones were carbed), or something along those lines.

But they will really need to be from atleast a 1000cc bike or bigger to be any use.

Hope that helps a bit

you can work out the CFM (or flow of air) by using the

max rpm divided by two time times the displacement of the engine and this gives u the amount per of air per minute the car engine uses at top whack, do the same for the bike engine the carbs are off and if is higher u are ok too use them...

forget about looking for specific carbs , youl pay through the nose as the kit car boys are willing to pay over the odds

the daddies are mikuni rs smoothbores 8)

its very unlikely to find em in this country though , even if you do they are costly

36mm will see you allreet

go for bikes that are unpopular

to sum it up

look for unpopular bikes

like steve says go for the biggest you can find , but size isnt everything

go for the newest carbs you can get , 1999 onwards ideally

mikuni or keihin ( but all oem carbs are of these manufactures )

buzz words to look for are smoothbore , flatslide , rs , fcr

this kinda thing
