So boys and girls .....

Your recommendations please for a good resort/hotel/country for summer sunshine. Not looking for a Benidorm type resort !!!!!

Need a good resort for sunshine, nice beach, good pool, 2 kids (age 10 & 12) going in June (ish).

Canaries, Fuertaventura, Calate deFuste, I think thats how you spell it, its in the middle of the Island, guaranteed sunburn, can be chilled, lively or both, loads for the kids too...

either that or Shell Island :D

if u dont want it benidormy one of the best places 2 go id say is malta, its quite relaxed and layed back plus lots of osf's, unfortunately not as many as the 1st time i went in 95 as a kid (the reason we went osf's hehe) we stay in mellieha which is north of the island, tbh anywhere is ok buggibba is a tad benidormy

either that or as sprocket said fueterventura is good, i stayed in corralejo tho thats quite good, any where like that quite layed back.

or the usual places majorca etc, no magaluf or palma nova tho if u dont want it benidormy hehe.

I went to Gambia last summer, it's the rainy season (don't be put off by that, I'll explain later) so prices are much cheaper than usual and when you get there the hotels are quieter.

very relaxing, cheap as chips (outside the hotel) very warm without being stifling and enough to see and do. As for the rainy season bit, it means occasional heavy downpours that are usually finished in an hour or so (we saw two in a week) and the sun is back out again 20 mins later. The top hotels are really nice, my recommend would be the Karaiba but the Ocean bay where we stayed was nice too

The only drawback is the begging, they're after you the minute you leave the hotel, and it gets a little tiresome.

I lived in Dubai when i worked for Mercedes, so i can recomend there to. Beautiful, safe and clean. Still pretty cheap, to get there etc. Dont get to see many osf, but plenty supercars kickin about the place, getting scraped on the high speedbumps. :P

You got tickets for Glasto Mr Sam? Do you know any of the line up yet?

they're on sale april 1st dude but you've gotta register online first in febuary

Anything you read about confirmed performances at Glastonbury 2007 is speculation and rumour. Many, many exciting discussions are underway which should give Glastonbury 2007 the best line-up anywhere in the world.
