GJUK Posted May 11, 2010 Report Posted May 11, 2010 Once it's working though, which they will sort out. It's a very good feature to have on a car. We're all only human after all.

We're all only human after all. only problem with that is, people would just use that to slow them down all the time and if it goes wrong they will not be preparing to brake and hit things at full speed, (bit like when people thought cruise control would steer for them)
caprinerd Posted May 11, 2010 Report Posted May 11, 2010 the amount of computer errors that happen everyday and we`re going to trust an auto braking system , i dont think so

I mean you'd have whip lash from doing emergancy stops and no tyres left from a quick trip to get some milk from the shop!
GJUK Posted May 11, 2010 Report Posted May 11, 2010 you never know it takes alsorts I withdraw my previous comment, you're right to be fair.
Pipster007 Posted May 11, 2010 Report Posted May 11, 2010 I think they had the test all wrong. What they're actually showing us, is how strong and safe a Volvo is by ramming it into the back of a truck, after all there aren't too many other cars you'd like to be in in a crash and come out relativley unscathed
