LEONMEX Posted June 25, 2010 Report Posted June 25, 2010 wear gloves as its as itchy as fook on your skin,my mate soaked his in water before fitting it as its easuer to work with aswell. I put mine on dry but was fine
PIG Posted June 25, 2010 Report Posted June 25, 2010 put the roll in a bucket of warm water and get it soaking wet,then roll it round m8.get some thin lock wire and lock wire plyers to secure it in place.try to ring it out abit if as well if you can before you wrap it
chunkys mk1 Posted June 25, 2010 Author Report Posted June 25, 2010 Ive got some stainless steel ties to go with it, is that any good ? Also do I wrap the primarys seperately as I have seen some crossflows with the two middle ones wrapped together ? Sorry for all the questions !
Seals2 Posted June 26, 2010 Report Posted June 26, 2010 The last one i done I painted it then soak the wrap in hot water to soften it wrap the complete down pipe and done the primary seperate. still nice and neat a year on.
