im getting ready for going to glasgow tomorrow from chelmsford essex and got me thinking what sort of distances people have gone to, to buy and OSF?

For my next one, it'll be approx 30 miles to get off the island and then whatever the distance from Liverpool.

 

Or of course, I could fly there but then there'll still be the distance added on the return.

something like 600kilometers from Peterborough England to Westmeath Ireland. Started at 7pm to go to Dublin airport, arrived in Cambs at 12am, drove through the night until 9am ferry, arrived home at about 2pm.

And NOW by the looks of the terrible OSF here in Germany I might be going to the UK again

well i bought about 8 from malta but i suppose that dont count as went on the plane,6 in one long weekend and my mate over there found two others to fill the transporter

I drove to Stoke-on-trent from Basildon to pick up my Anglia and i drove it home from there without even seeing it! Luckily was fine and got me home even after racing a few cars on the way

well i made it back total of 467 miles ones way in about 7 1/2 hours . apart from the last 100 miles or so with it sounding like a tank as it blew a massive hole in the exhaust box but never mind.

 

just thought i would add whilst driving home in my 1985 ford been setting for 6 mounths i over took (as they were on the hard shoulder broken down)
