Tall paul Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 Sorry to hi-jack but are they just your standard shocks with the kit and springs on? If so, were did you get them from if you don't mind me asking? And was they hard to do?
dawesy1700 Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 im sorry for hijacking too, , but yes they are original struts and the kits and springs were from rally design, and they were very easy, chopped the old spring cup off myself then handed them to my machine shop, they welded n i painted, job done, sorry again to the original poster for this blatant hijack, i shall return from whence i came,
Tall paul Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 Cheers fella, me too Back to some more pics of sweet 4 doors i hope

4DOOR-SHERWOOD Posted August 9, 2010 Report Posted August 9, 2010 loving the stance you have on those revo's Daz!
Daz271 Posted August 10, 2010 Report Posted August 10, 2010 loving the stance you have on those revo's Daz! Cheers mate, do you own all the cars in your sig? Some stunners there Your yellow 4 door is a stunner! I love the stance on mine too but im gonna have to raise it a bit and sort the front suspension out, the previous owner cut the springs down to just 2 coils The rear is lowered 4" at the moment. Not much daylight to be seen underneath
Daz271 Posted August 10, 2010 Report Posted August 10, 2010 i've just done this to the four door in my sig, ride height adjustable coil overs, £40 to have them welded, £45 for the kits n £30 for a pair of springs, should help you get the perfect stance, so thats £115 plus a bit of elbow grease and hammerite and your laughing. Can i ask you a couple of Q's please mate? Im thinking of converting my struts to coilovers but the standard strut casings are only around 46 - 47mm thick, the threaded coilover tube is made for a 51mm strut... Did this cause any problems when welding on and also have you used anything to fill the 5mm gap between the strut casing and the threaded tube? Hope that made some sense??
