dockertrigger Posted July 20, 2010 Report Posted July 20, 2010 After selling my BMW 1602 last week I've been on the look out for something else to replace it, I've always been a big Ford fan so imagine my excitement on Sunday when i saw this come up for sale locally for only £995. http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C169982/ I rang the owner to be told about how it was his recently deceased dad's and needed to move it on, But sadly there was someone on their way round to view it and that he'd ring me back if it sold. 20 Minutes later i get a call to say that it had (unsurprisingly) sold, I was gutted but i hoped that at least someone else would get to enjoy it. So imagine my anger tonight when i see that it's now on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1969-FORD-CORTINA ... 4151547c34 Surprise surprise it was bought by a dealer who was after a quick buck, Got the right old hump now.
marky4 Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 shame you missed out mate matey is going to make a nice profit by looks of it
2litreScapri Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 Sadly, that's the name of the game to some people - buy cheap, make huge profit because someone else doesn't understand what they've got or need it gone
