have to say i would be pretty cross if ordered anything that was so ill fitting if you sell a product it should be fit for purpose fair enough the guy gave you your money back but should have been sooner . cannot belive so many other people think thats good service!!!!

all these people that are saying "your taking sides", "backing him up" etc is a complete load of bollox.

 

everyone thats said his products are good, actually has experience in using them and has purchased those bits from him.

 

Its not like everyone is jumping on the bandwagon saying "i aint bought fook all from him, but his stuff is amazing", is it?

I can only explain in detail what I went through when I bought a cage from him. I can't comment on if this is the normal standard of quality or just a one (sorry I mean two!) off.

 

As said, everyone can read what has happend then make their own mind up.

Yeah I know, people make mistakes, "shit happens" as they say. But I was dragged form here to there, made to wrap this up, wait, told that it was my cars fault, just made to feel like I was a thorn in someones side over the whole thing.

lol, I did wonder through the whole thing... The safety devices cage confirms otherwise though :thumbsup:

Imo you posted this because you were/are angry about your experience,i can appreciate the hasstle and ball ache you went through while the situation was being resolved but i think you just got unlucky and it did get resolved in the end(easy for me to say i know).

Its very apparent that Jon has had alot of happy customers and i have to say i dont really agree with the post,purley because it comes accross a bit,''this is what could happen to you so bear that in mind before ordering''(its all well and good saying have a read and make your own mind up) reading this post could put people off and i think thats unfair when you consider the large percentage of happy custiomers,all my opinion of course :mrgreen:

I must be very unlucky to have two cages not fit. Very unlucky.

Sure, there has been a lot of possitive feedback about his cages (one reason I bought one). So, if that is the case, this thread will be a minor blip in Tube Tech's profile as being one that can produce resonably priced, amazing quality controlled, well made, well fitting roll cages.

 

(I never received one of these cages though, mine were poor at best)

same old,same old.as said over the road jon is now on holiday so it seems abit unfair he cant coment on this for over a week imo.im sure the whole story is not crystal clear.i wont coment anymore as gjuk has read my post over the road :beer:

Unless I was expected to paint the cage, or maybe it was sent to me in 'kit form' and I was meant to re cut it and weld it up myself when it arrived I fail to see how I could be more involved than I was.

 

I paid my money, and waited for my cage to arrive.

You've had your say and for now the thread will be locked until Jon has an opportunity to have his say.

 

I'm sure you have put the whole story as you see it. As with any disagreement though there are two sides to every story.
