I know Darren has mentioned going to both, anyone else fancy it? Yeah,, Mk14dr is wanting to go to both, so I said I would too. However, I'm having to take my engine and box out today, so if it's not back in and working I'll be in a modern car. Mike if your good ill let you sit next to me in the osf corsa

The box that was in it belonged to someone else while I had mine fixed. Got it fixed, fitted it, and found the clutch cover was fouling on the bellhousing. I managed to fix it yesterday with the help of the grinder. The engine and box are back in, I just need to bolt the exhaust, prop, rad etc back in. A couple of hours work tomorrow afternoon.

Andy504 Posted February 23, 2007 Report Posted February 23, 2007 Any chance of some basic directions if were coming down the M56 Ken, were coming from the little meet we are havin at the mascot manor on the m6 j21, so it would be nice to go straight there and not all over the world finding yas, cheers bud.

Slik 50 Posted February 23, 2007 Report Posted February 23, 2007 Looks like I wont be going to either meets now 4 frikin weeks me car has been in the garage and it still aint fixed! told the guy at the beging of last week that I wanted it back for this weekend. Spoke to him tuesday morning and he said he was going to start it as soon as he got to work. Havnt been able to speek to him yet but rumor has it that he still aint started it Fookin knob has realy p*ssed me of. I can still make it but doing the whole trip (200+ miles) in an astra realy isnt what I facied doing this weekend Once again I am p*ssed off

Although he did like some of the cars there, he mightve caught the bug Loved the mk1 Cortina, and the Mk1 RS1600, and the Gold 1600e, and the Jensen CV8, and the V8 capri and the ..... The list goes on.
