Posse Posted August 12, 2010 Report Posted August 12, 2010 the great saving of £2 club ticket £14 and normal advance ticket is £16 id give it 3 years till its called fast ford rather than ford fair on the bright side of all this there were some fit birds there I think both shows are to expensive to what they were. We should get bigger discounts as if it was'nt for our cars at these shows there would be no show.
flyingbanana Posted August 12, 2010 Report Posted August 12, 2010 last ford fair i went to was about 8 years ago....their was too much plastic then.....don't think ill bother again after this year.....too much plastic for my liking, dont seem to have changed much since last time..........one thing that did really annoy me.........nearly every single seating stand was closed off so either had to sit on concrete or find some where on the grass....and their wasn't much around the track...think i only saw 2 stands open out the whole lot
tim Posted August 12, 2010 Report Posted August 12, 2010 on the bright side of all this there were some fit birds there I think both shows are to expensive to what they were. RossMK2 Posted August 12, 2010 Report Posted August 12, 2010 i really think they need to put all old stuff appart away from other stuff we kept finding odd osf's in the middle of other clubs if they were all together you would know were they are problem is you cant please everyone i really think it could be made even better just by doing simple things
Savvi Posted August 12, 2010 Report Posted August 12, 2010 I agree about splitting the old with new, we walked into one area got a couple of meters in look at each other and walked out ............ just rows and rows of Focus Rs and plastic. We also found little pockets of older stuff which i'd have prefered to have been put togeather, never missed the Avo stand all togeather until just before we were leaving.
oldskooler Posted August 13, 2010 Report Posted August 13, 2010 ya, i agree bout splitting old from new, we walked miles and still missed a few quality motors in among the sea of plastic. its annoying looking at event report pics and seeing pockets of stuff that was missed on the day!

puddy Posted August 14, 2010 Report Posted August 14, 2010 ya, i agree bout splitting old from new, we walked miles and still missed a few quality motors in among the sea of plastic. its annoying looking at event report pics and seeing pockets of stuff that was missed on the day! tim Posted August 14, 2010 Report Posted August 14, 2010 ive just recived a copy of the ford fair programe (thank you ford fair people) and was suprise to see the first handful of years, ford fair was a 2 and 3 day event
Savvi Posted August 14, 2010 Report Posted August 14, 2010 I carried out the survey in the above link and one of the questions was would i think it better being a 2 day event. I have also commented on the terrible food, rip of prices and putting all the classic's in one place I now go into the £500 draw, guess that will go towards paying for some grub next year if i win
