first my computer started playing up about a week ago

then yesterday my windscreen got a stone chip and cracked straight away, the crack getting bigger

i dont want to claim on my insurance as ive just renewed my insurance with a new company (on friday)

so £130 for a new screen fitted

then today my computer went altogether kept doing strange things

my mate howierpm showed me how to down load a anti virus clean up program and showed me how to do disk clean up and empty recycle bin delete cookies and ive removed my photos on to cds

woo its working, hope it stays that way

Why would you not claim on your insurance for your windscreen? The excess is usually small and it shouldn't affect your No Claims Discount.

just give it a week or 2 if your worried about that, did you change insurers or was it a straight forward renewal with same company? ive had incidents i been to same car twice in 3 weeks for new screens, shit happens and its why you pay your premiums to cover these sort of things

i just changed insurers so only been with this company since 13th august

youre right steve its 12 months insurance :ykt:

Get on the blower and get yourself a new screen then

Should cost you no more than £70 and won't affect your ncb for what they are worth anyway
