Couldnt afford tickets to Leeds this year which i am peed off about especially as Blink and GNR are headlining, but on the bright side im seeing Muse next month and GNR in october

went to leeds when metallica, queens of the stone age, tenacious D, feeder, the killers etc were playing and it was great! i didn't even fall over in the mud! i hear that its gone downhill though, too many d1cks burning things nowadays... whats the lineup like for this year?

LOL!! nobody craps in hedges or injects heroin at festivals!! yeah so a few stoners smoke weed but its to be expected really, i got high when i saw metallica and it was awesome! dont knock it!

 

also how did i forget about the mighty RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE!!! they were siiiick! tom morello is a don!

this is the first year that i havent worked there for 4 years !! , i used to run an agency and we used to supply all the cleaners and some of the campsite security to a australian run company who have the security and cleaning contract , and because i was one of the higher managers i had to spend the weekend there and supervise the staff we had onsite incase they had any problems with them as you can understand that there wasnt many english people that were willing to do 72 hrs straight with split shift patterns and most of our cleaning force was polish because they were more than willing to work

 

last year a lad was stabbed in the foot by a hyperdermic needle that went through his boot in the toilets and another confronted by someone crapping in a hedge after asking them to leave and make himself respectable and they were both working for the agency , there were people being kicked out all weekend for doing more than just smoking a bit of weed .

 

its fact that it happens as i have seen it

i will be going to reading,only live 10mins away.ticket off a tout,get smashed,then nice warm bed.

there will be all types of drug useage there lets be honest.but im sure the amount doing brown compared to the what 100 odd thousand that attend is very small although still done.never seen that there but i guess it goes on,been going reading for 20 years now.excellent atmosphere.but like said steer clear of Reading and caversham from next wednesday as you wont move for soap dodgers

thats fair enough then CFS, i never saw anything that bad when i went though, i know people huff nitrous oxide because my mates did it, apparently thats alot of fun too! (for the record i dont advocate drug use!) the hypodermic needle has to be an isolated incident, the number of heroin addicts in the UK is only in the thousands... sorry for the accidental thread jack BTW, leeds was great fun for me, the ride down was hilarious (even saw a capri in the queue, a green 'S' if its anyone on here), the performances were brilliant even on the variety tents. i suppose its what you make it though, its just a shame the food is so bloody expensive!
