EscortHeadCase Posted September 14, 2010 Report Posted September 14, 2010 2.0 block, balanced crank, cossie bolts. +150 pistons (been told by wayne that makes it a 2.047), head with big valves heavy single springs and a reprofiled ht1 with a boatload of porting and gasflowing done. Peak power is at 5k 172bhp and 170ft lbs. Well happy with that. Heads supposed to be good for 200 on a 2.1 so thats the plan for my old 205 block. Ill put the dyno sheet on laters. edit Just in case you don't know my car.

ZetecTinaLee Posted September 14, 2010 Report Posted September 14, 2010 Nice figures... Nice to see the torque up there with the horsepower
EscortHeadCase Posted September 15, 2010 Author Report Posted September 15, 2010 Added the dyno printout. you can see the 114.4 of my old standard pinto compared with the new. Its a little lumpy for my liking. But that curve at the end is very good for a few
w p e Posted September 15, 2010 Report Posted September 15, 2010 take them gause cups of the carbs and let it breath properly they ain't worth the tea strainers there made of
EscortHeadCase Posted September 16, 2010 Author Report Posted September 16, 2010 hahaha, i dont think they are restricting it that bad. not as much as the foam filters i tried anyway, i live in the sticks so the thought of me hooning down a country road and a pebble managing to bounce in there made me get them, plus ive never heard stories of them catching fire and i can take em off easy. As well as being able to strain tea with them . . . .
