Got mugged Saturday night

Couldnt believe it!

 

Where i live, its a small, quiet town where nothing ever happens.

 

I was walking home after a night out, i turned into a quiet road and noticed footsteps behind me that seemed too close.............

 

The next thing i know, there's an arm round my neck and a gun in my face.

He says "if you dont want to get f'ing shot, give me your phone and wallet"

 

I said no and a struggle ensues but they beat the crap outta me with the butt of the 'gun'.

They didnt manage to get anything as i was calling for help and must of put them off hanging around for too long but got some beats round the back of the head and a nice big gash.

 

I managed to knock on someones door to get an ambulance and the old bill though.

 

I just cant believe it! in my little home town!

 

It turns out that 30 mins after i was done over, another guy was threatened with a gun and was mugged too.

 

Mother fookers, it makes me wish i was a hard nut and could have given them a kicking in return but, a wuss like me had no chance.

 

Never mind, i guess i have to count my blessings, i didn't get shot or too badly injured, just a it battered and bruised. It cold have been alot worse!

 

So, peeps, it just goes to show, it does happen to you and take care out there!

Never been in that situation, but I don't know whether I could say no. How is it that people can get away with this sort of thing. Thing is, say you'd been mister black belt and kicked the living crap out of him. knowing this country he'd end up suing you and you'd end up doing a stretch at one of her majesty's fine hotels.

cheers guys, they didn get anything but had they managed to, all they would have got is £6.00 and a broken samsung phone that i dropped down the toilet.

I just got a call from the cid police and they have someone in custody.

They want me to go to an identity parade tomorrow. Trouble is i didn't get a very good look at them. I just hope that i can positively ID him and that his face jogs my memory.

 

i want this loser sent down for a long time. What kind of a person can beat someone from behind and feel no remorse?

I think they might get them to say what was said but i dont think i would remember the voice to be honest.

 

Its wierd but when the gun was against my face i just thought, "nah, ...a gun?..... it cant be real", so i struggled and lashed out.

 

The thing is, is that haad it of been a knife pressed against my throat i would have handed my stuff over cos its easier and quieter to stab someone.

 

Scary stuff and i'll definatley be more wary when out and about, which is a shame as i walk the dog late at night n stuff.

 

I just cant let it get to me really and i just hope that either I find out who it was so i can break his legs or that he gets put away and becomes some big dudes object of affection in jail.

Totaly shocked to read about this mate .My youngest son has been mugged once by a bloke about 20 when my son was 13,and when he was 15 got bottled after arguing with another 15-16 year old but we live in a shit hole of an area .Where do you live .

bunch of c**ts. most likely not a real gun as you can get replica air pistols from the manufacture of the real counterparts like walthers, desert eagles, colts, S&W and magnums etc. they're perfectly legal although not in public obviously. i sure hope you can identify them tomorrow, take a scaffold pole and follow him

Sorry to hear about that Sambo, don't worry to much about the 'what ifs'. It doesn't matter how hard you are, you can still get mugged, shot or stabbed. It just comes down to luck, surprise, planning and execution.

This is happening all too often.

 

I am a Night Mini-Cab driver in South London.

 

I could tell you some stories that we drivers share, (But this post is long enough with only 2 mentioned) thing is a lot of what goes on right under peoples noses never gets reported.

 

A few of us drivers will be sitting about in the early hours looking up and down a quiet suburban street which most people will be snug in bed, and we think you don't know what is going on only a few feet from your door.

 

Regular customer of mine was repeatedly stabbed in the leg until he revealed his pin numbers, another one who tackled an armed intruder (Intruder had one of his own knives out of his kitchen draw) is being pursued through the courts by the burglar for assault.

 

6 years of nights and not much surprises me any more.

 

And the city of London Police Orifice wondered why I was so annoyed at 4.10 am on a Sunday morning when he pulled me up for not wearing a seatbelt.

 

One £60 fine later and him telling me they were clamping down on Mini-Cab drivers not wearing seatbelts after dropping customers off.

 

I had to add they were doing such a good job shame they were not clamping down on people be mugged in the open.

 

So he was kind enough to give me a second £60 fine for cracked number plate, as ANPR can't read em.

 

So I pointed out Lambeth council read in OK with ANPR when they gave me a £50 fine for dropping a passenger off at Brixton tube station.

 

 

 

Sorry for the rant but this sort of thing going on just firks me off, get the Police men back on the streets.
