Just been sent this via email. Dont know how old it is but ive not seen it before and thought id upload it here.

Next time you think of buying a place think about this…………….

I just heard about a guy that decided to buy a home and a few acres in Portugal. The modest farmhouse had been vacant for 15 years; the owner and wife both had died, and there were no heirs.

The house was sold to pay taxes. There had been several lookers, but the large barn had steel doors, and they had been welded shut. Nobody wanted to go to the extra expense to see what was in the barn, and it wasn't complimentary to the property anyway......so, nobody made an offer on the place.

The guy bought it at just over half of the property's worth, moved

in, and set out to tear into the barn.......curiosity was killing him. So, he and his wife bought a generator, and a couple of grinders..and

cut thru the welds.

What was in the barn..............?

It's been posted before but the story about the bloke buying a plot of land and finding that barn full of them is internet hokum.

Here's the truth

The real story is the following, the barn was in the owners (Antonio Ferreira de Almeida) family for many years and he had a mechanic that took care of the them. The mechanic died some time before these pictures were taken and the cars were ignored for some time. The owner of the cars, who had been a VW dealer, had been collecting the cars since 1972.
