I'm running m16's with 2.8 cappa vented discs the pads i have at the mo are just boggo autofactor specials, i think moving to some sportier pads would give a little more "bite" sooo, what would you reccomend please add approx price amd where to get them -Cheers

Think its mintex pads that flord escorts got on his 1600sport, and they squeak like a bar-stool

Stop well, but the noise deffo gets annoying.

Dads got green stuff pads on the V8 one, stops well :thumbsup:

Mintex pads are dusty as hell though. I'd go with the green stuff

3000 miles of moderate to thrashing the tits off my bmw my greens still squeak

I used Ferrodo DS2500 in my volvo T-5R with ap racing 4 pots on 325mm discs and they squeaked for 40 miles, after that they were the muts nuts.

a little dusty mind but i'd use them again, never using greenies again

I like green stuff, my mate swears by ferrodo. On the same thrash his will fade while mine are still going strong.

pad fade or does he just need to change his fluid?

Isn't squeaking just down to pad-to-carrier friction? put some more copper slip on and they'll be good

I am not sure, that is def possible. I do know that I have never got significant brake fade even when my brake discs turn blue with heat and my alloys get too hot to touch.

I also have to be honest in that I haven't tried anything else, but GREENS have never let me down so I don't have much inclination!
