Daily OSF for under a grand???

can a reliable,usuble osf be had for less than £1k be found, i'm not looking yet but i'd consider it,

anyone running a cheapie osf for a daily?

I'd say mk5 cortina, you can pick up a really good one for under £1000. I ran a capri 2.0 laser for a year as a daily and it never let me down, it only cost £400, but they are getting more pricey. Guess after that its early fiestas.

I paid £1000 for my 1300 Sport, it was rust free and have been using it daily for the last 5 years with no probs, I'd happily drive it to the moon!!

 

Best bit is nearly all parts are still easy to get

i gave £500 for my mk2 escy 18 months ago , perfectly capable of been used every day when i bought it , there still out there its just finding them

You might find a nice Mk2 Granada well within your price range on eBay... They are the ultimate all day luxo-cruiser...

already had more than a couple of visits to your ad mate funds wont allow anything till at least early 2011

its cost me over a ton to fix it but least i still have it mate,

 

but their is loads out their for less then a grand or a grand i get most of mine form ebay or pistion heads or just calling on them,

 

but you have to be prepaired to spend money some times on the old girl,

 

my limo cost me a grand with 10 months test on it but ive spent around £1500 on it so far and used it three times,

 

hope to get it back soon the engine is all in and sounding sweet just waiting on the guy to finish but i cant complaine about it as it is a garage and he is helping me out

only thing at 18 round town and high 20s on a run it aint really a daily unless you like the till doris at the local petrol station

That stretched Granada is a complete bloody bargain... Sure as damn it beats a modern, and bloody bland, people carrier!!! All it needs are a couple of tweaks here and there to make it look really boss... I hope somebody gets it before it gets used for something race/oval related...

it's white...in a rust stained way. it also needs icy roads to have fun....god, i've tried to get the back out.

those low comp 1600 pinto's will never win races!!!
