chunk Posted January 14, 2007 Author Report Posted January 14, 2007 I'm having a blonde day, but does that mean my car isnt in the country any more? Also, whats RS Vista? Mike
Admin Vista Posted January 14, 2007 Admin Report Posted January 14, 2007 Vista RS might be able to track it down, at least tell you if its still alive Anyone can do that (as Tim did above) you just need to go to the vehicle licencing site and make a vehicle enquiry. Here's the link. http://www.vehiclelicence.gov.uk/EvlPor ... =directgov

Mike VistaRS is me, see above and yes it looks like it was exported in 2002 and so is probably now in Ireland, could be either North or South, both count as an export.

PMSL, ok cool. Well, I guess that means it was still in one piece, or maybe it was just the log book that moved. I'd love to buy the reg back, damn I miss that car. Long shot, any way of finding out where it has gone too? Mike

And is to tracking it down I can't help there. maybe one of the Irish members of OSF could keep an eye for you, but other than that no idea sorry.
chunk Posted January 14, 2007 Author Report Posted January 14, 2007 If it gets its own reg in paddy land, would I be able to buy my old reg back? Mike
Admin Vista Posted January 14, 2007 Admin Report Posted January 14, 2007 Not sure about Eire, I think it always gets a new reg no there, but in NI It doesn't necessarily get it's own reg, they get the option of keeping the UK one or getting a NI one, much as we do if we bring a car back from there. You could ask DVLA, but I doubt you'll get much joy.
