CrazyCharlie Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 hi all theres a drag and drift day at smeathorpe airfield near honiton its being run by modifed madness theres prob guna be alot of jap but im hoping theres guna be some osf to show them how its done its not a great surface its an old run way but its draging in devon and i hope it leads to more should be a bit of fun there web site if anyones interested as you have to pre-book ur tickets else they won't let you run www.modifidmadness.co.uk if the weather is good it'll be quarter mile if it's bad it'll be 8th of a mile
livewire7116 Posted October 20, 2010 Report Posted October 20, 2010 The only problem with the venue is when people leave to go home they drive like idiots thru the local villages, it then gets a bad reputation and the locals complain about all the forms of motorsport which goes on up there all year round, wasbig chance last year that they were going to ban all of it up there including the stock cars and rallying
