Ive been going on all the old ford forums now for the best part of 2 years now.

I joined up when i was looking for another mk1 Escort to rekindle the passion i had for these in my teens/20's.

I bought one eventually but it unfortunately needed an engine rebuild very soon after i got it which is still ongoing but hopefully will be done this year, therefore i havent had much input to the forums and have been around mostly as a lurker.

Anyway, im rambling!! Old Skool Ford is , in my opinion, the best forum of its kind that i have been using.

Its a pleasure to come on here and read up on whats been going on around the country, the OSFDC of course, and just generally browse!!

I'm posting this as like i said, ive been browsing 'the other ones' too and i just wanted to say this is where i like it best

Friendly, knowledgable people with a common interest

 

If i'm lucky i'll get my engine back together for 2011 and meet up with some of you rather than lurk from the armchair

I agree with you mate! top site and a great bunch. I have met a few people from here at meets and shows and was made to feel very welcome. This means alot as its nice to go to places and have a chat and a laugh and keep the old skool hobbie fun!

Has to be said the osf lot are very friendly, and your always welcome with or without a car both on here and at meets. Yes there are other sites you can go to,(some have ) but in my expierence none are as welcoming as this site. And theres always someone willing to give help an advice should you be just stuck or a wet behind the ears newbie like i was/am

Not been on the forum much in the past year, well not as much as I used to! That's all changing in the new year and will be back in the osfdc so looking forward to meeting up with old friends and making some new ones
