Escort Mk1 & Mexico wings

Just a quick question, we have the opportunity to buy some Mk1 escort & escort mexico wings, they are brand new from hadrian panels.

The standard escort wings are £230 + vat per side and the mexico ones are £360 per side would be anyone be interested?

These will be the chinese imports? Stone me they've hiked the price up.

 

Sorry I wouldn't be interested at that price when other traders are offering them for much less.

 

Cleveland panels are offering standard for £179 and Mex for £265 (both inclusive of VAT)

I dont mean to be podantic but in classic ford they were saying standard ones were £158.63p and for mexico ones £258.50 Have they gone up?

ok well that answers that question then, these were the price they were offered to us at.

To be fair they aren't chinese imports as I think Hadrain panels make all of their panels themselves in the UK but we thought it was worth asking if anyone was interested, I shall be passing back a "thanks but no thanks!"

Trust me, they are the Chinese imports as no-one else has made any.

Dad rang up (well mums boss did) today to chase them up and to see when they are ready for sale, says in Classic Ford there ready, but Hadrians said there not

Big up to rally design.......bought them yesterday morning, got a phone call saying the postage is abit more, that was fine

 

Looking at the 4-5 working days for delivery, so planning on not being here until after new year as they were shut.

Raldes have always been good for me on previous orders too every orders come next day. I ordered my pair on Tuesday-told they should be expecting them by Weds (they still didnt have them at this point!)-got phonecall Weds morning about extra postage-still only £14 the pair-and that they were leaving-got them first thing Thursday.

Bit of a bummer, our drivers side wing has a dent down the centre, were going to give them an email, obviously won't hear from them til after new year as there shut now.

 

Not the end of the world, can be filled, but just didn't wanna be putting filler on a brand new wing, wanted to keep filler to a minimum

Was speaking to Turnover about them the other week, and he said most repro wings need a little adjustment to get gaps perfect, so guessing its the same, but im guessing there fairly spot on considering how much the creator put into making them

brought me a pair of spare mex wings from rally design before the vat increase they are much cheaper than anyone else and the funniest thing is they have hadriens stickers an part numbers on them
