How do everyone

 

I have been without my turntables for a little while now as I have been decorating. I set them up the other day and thought, I will have a spin on those soon as I have really missed playing my chooons.

 

Well, today was the day for spinning. I have been busting out chooons for most of the day today, but, my mixes are a little.... rusty shall we say. I say to myself, don't worry Jim, it has been a while, it is like riding a bike

 

Well, yeah, I have been getting back into the swing of things but this has been an old problem. For some reason, when I decide to record a mixing session, I cock everything up. I can't get my head around it. I wish my computer would suddenly hit record without me knowing, but it won't, I have even told my mate to do it, but I still get it all so wrong.

 

If there is no recording, I am fine again. What do you recon????

just record everything, then you'll have to get good whilst always being recorded.

 

i was like that with my guitar.i nailed the solo to crazy little thing called love,when i was doing my GCSE music, but i kept cockig it up when on a recorder. i the end i sat there for an hour costantly messing up, then it clicked.

I am with you on that mate, it has been something that I have never been able to get around. I have never wanted to record myself, but I have a mate who is pestering me to do him a CD for his car.

Oh yeah, I forgot, I get a big attack of the shakes as well. I have stopped now, but I am still shaking
