I have been researching in the Taunus because being a life long Cortina MK5 fan  I like the look of them, especially the Taunus Coupe Gt SP5

I was wondering if anyone had seen any in england or any of its closer surrounding countries as the only ones i can fine are in Argentina  which is a bit far away! i would love to see one in the flesh just so i can really decide weather i want to import one :D

The Mk5 coupes were S America only and as far as i know there's only 1 outside there, it was bought home by a Spanish goverment worker when he returned to Spain, i believe it's now in Sweden or the Netherlands :?

There's quite a few taunus TC coupes over here but still in single figures as far as i know

We did get the P100 over here ;) that double cab is based on a P100 (a late hi cap version from the look of the roof line) very nice it is too 8)

Well there is one in the Netherlands for years so that must be the one. It was originaly fitted with a 2.3 Lima engine but has a 2.8 V6 now.

Hi!

The TAUNUS MK 1 Coupe was build from 70-75 in Germany. If you want one, search in Germany at ebay.de or mobile.de

Mk2 and MK3 Coupes are only made in Argentinia.....

A very old topic, but I have a Ford Taunus 2.3 GT coupé in the Netherlands. On this moment I'm restoring my car. It will be on the road in March 2017.

I'm converting it to a Ford Taunus 2.8 GT S

You can follow my restauration on my blog: http://blog.taunus.nl (sorry, but only in Dutch)
