Fletch Posted January 29, 2011 Report Posted January 29, 2011 This is my 1980 mk1 fiesta 1.1L, 34k genuine miles, solar gold (needs respray = on to do list) plans are to: lower it around 50mm maybe a little more, ill be using Rallydesign Fiesta Front and RD ERST rears and have Mk2 XR2 Front dampers Also Fully polybushed Respray Solar Gold along with a mk1 hatch (got a mk2 on at the moment) fit 5 speed mk2 Gearbox Now the big question??? im going to fit Rs 4 spokes with either 175 50 13 or 175 60 13 bepending on funds, however im unsure how to paint them? please answer the poll attached to this topic. Fletch Posted April 30, 2011 Author Report Posted April 30, 2011 not been on alot as ive been busy with college etc car is now nearly done, had respray new wheels and tyres lowered new steering wheel nearly ready for FITP and Classic ford show the best pics i have so far

Did you get a mk1 tailgate?See you at FITP yeh got one however its been in a acident at somepoint in its life and is bent in on drivers side corner. so it not shut flush and the latch dosent work as a result of this. basically its held down witha tie wrap untill i can source another one in good condition. its my own fault as i should of checked when buying it but even when it was being painted you couldnt tell untill we lined it up on the car and then it stuck out like a sore thumb

They need cleaning almost from the minute you've finished cleaning it. I love my black daily but it's a ball ache to keep looking good.
