I just dont wanna spend a load of money on the rest of the engine and then, just because I saved a few pennies on the conrods, the whole engines knackered if your spending good money on your engine then ya better off getting tried and tested rods for piece of mind, but I'm gonna buy a set for a cheap pinto that I'm building I know people who are running these in 300bhp up imprezas with no problem yet but you gotta realise these are cheap so I'm guessing the quality control just aint there and all it takes is small imperfection in the rod then your looking for a new block
