An R plate escort Si 5 door in the metalic green, will be my first zetec car for the wife to run around in.

havent seen it yet but pretty much brought it blind for 1200, its had one owner and has about 29k on the clock with full history, waxoiled from new.

if anyone has any tips on what to look for let me know as the last escort i owned was a mk4 3i, and that was nearly new.

 

will also be looking for GTI sideskirts for it if anyone knows of any.

Had an R reg Escort estate 1.4 - was a heap o s**** but I never had any probs with it did 37000+ miles in 2 yrs, the zetec one is probably a better effort.

 

Ideal runaround and if its been looked after should give no bother

hey, ease off mate, its for the wifes daily driver really!!!

 

within 5 mins of owning it i took it for the first good caning its probably ever had, drives nice and tight and that little zetec hasnt loosened up yet, but for a modern 1600 it goes well and has that 16v edge to it!

 

bit gutted it was the new style and not the old one with the big elephant ear seats and sideskirts though.
