cockneyplayboy Posted April 4, 2011 Report Posted April 4, 2011 Ok ok so I have spent most of my motoring life avoiding the owning of a Ford (bar one) .... till now lol. Hi all, Paul here, I'm a self confessed petrol-head with many cars and tales to tell as I am sure many of you may also be! I've had pretty much everything in the car walk of life from a late run V8 Esprit, to a 1275GT Mini, to a CL55 AMG, to a Slammed Ford Anglia, to countless aircooled VW's like Splitty's & Karmann Ghias and so on. But I have two cars currently in my stable you may be interested in and hence my visit to this site! To join the Old Skool Ford crowd! I recently bought a fully restored Capri 2.8 injection to go with the MK1 Fiesta which I am currently ripping to bits in an attempt to turn out a proper rude retro ride. The Capri is so standard it is uncanny, original stereo and full paperwork including MOT's from new and the original owners manual etc. Take a look for yourself... Excuse the old tailpipes.... you'll see shortly they have now been replaced! NOW I have replaced the rear tail trims.... it's complete! lol I am chuffed to bits with the new purchase, even more so seeing as I bagged an ebay bargain of £2650 believe it or not!!!!! Well I'll forward some pics of my other past motors and check you all later, and look forward to meeting up with a few of you over the summer hopefully! Pauly
cockneyplayboy Posted April 4, 2011 Author Report Posted April 4, 2011 Here's my magazine featured (and Best Karmann Ghia - Bug Jam 2009) Slammed custom Ghia, complete with custom built narrowed 7" beam! Here's my current ride, a 5.5 V8 CL55 AMG My V8 Esprit twin turbo I recently sold to a guy in Germany. and my Splitty I restored from scratch....
cockneyplayboy Posted April 4, 2011 Author Report Posted April 4, 2011 And finally one of my current projects.... (Hushhhhhh cant say how it's gonna turn out just yet!)......... Thats all folks!
