Burt Reynolds Posted April 11, 2011 Report Posted April 11, 2011 I've tried dozens of companies/mobile welders in and around the area to quote me for my Capri 2.8is, but no-one seems to want to weld it, they either say no or don't come back to me for one reason or another (no disrespect intended to those who haven't come back to me). I've sent emails/pics/phone calls. Is there anyone out there who is willing to quote to weld it for me. I can't move it at the moment (haven't got a trailer) so i can't take it anywhere to show people. It needs: It was previously involved in a light front passenger side head on accident and as a result the metal panel that juts out and sits below front grill running the width of the front of the car has been cut out from the middle to the passenger side and re welded. The weld in the middle is poor and needs cutting out and re-welding and the light bowl hasn’t any metal to allow the 2 bottom screws on the passenger headlight to screw into. The battery tray needs replacing The metal on the both front strut mounts removing and welding The reinforcement strut plates need welding on Both front wing mounting rails need replacing The front sill areas just behind each front wheel have a fist size hole The scuttle panel has a 50p size hole The floor has a 50p size hole Both floor strengthening plates need replacing Areas above both of the front door hinges have fist size holes The sunroof has a 50p hole Both rear wheel arches have some spot of rust but don't need replacing A 50 p hole on passenger behind rear bumper trim http://s274.photobucket.com/albums/jj26 ... s%20Capri/ Cheers Burt
