When will this couple stop using the media to try to blame everyone else but themselves for there daughters disapearance , they now want an inquiry into what our goverment has done for them and how the investigation was handled for goodness sake deal with the fact that you wilfully neglected your children and as a tragic consequence you daughter went missing . it does not take an inquiry to know that

At the root of it, a grieving couple who ultimately need to accept that their neglect played a significant role in their daughter's disappearance.

 

A newspaper carrying along a story, and using this grieving couple in order to serve its' "caring" agenda, and putting populist pressure on the PM to act.

 

The PM responding in kind by ordering a review, bowing to populist pressure.

 

The political interference with operational independence and forcing the Metropolitan Police to work outside its jurisdiction.

 

A review that will cost taxpayers millions of pounds. Money that could be spent improving the lives of other children.

And as for cashing in, do you think it costs nothing for all the work that is needed to keep people looking, private detectives etc.

Yes they have to accept some blame for the situation, I'm sure everyday they realise that they shouldn't have left their kids alone, but we've all done it I'm sure. I can only assume that those of you who have no humility, also have no kids.

I know if a child of mine went missing, searching for them would never stop.

All this couple want is their daughter safely back home, and all credit to them for using every available outlet to help in their search.

I feel for those families out there who have missing children that don't have access to the Met's resources

As a parent and god forbid im ever in that situation i would use any means to find my little girl.

As for neglect i was on holiday last week and the were at least two familys in the bar with baby monitors on the table make me feel sick thinking about it
