hello there. just like it says, i'm from sunderland and i just bought a capri. my first car was a 1.6 laser rotbox and i took the rough with the smooth and enjoyed it enough to get another one 6 years later. this one is an entirely different beast though.

i love cars but i'm jealous of some peoples massive knowledge as i'm a total noob when it comes to mechanics so i'll mostly be hanging around asking daft questions! also want to find out about any local meets and show the car off.

this is the car in question anyway;

if you see me driving around the northeast give me a honk!

Granada wheels? I think they look quite good on that but they're probably not something I'd have considered.:

ha ha that's funny you have no idea how many people have already said that! i agree, i'd never consider the granada wheels but as soon as i clapped eyes on the car i knew they'd be staying. they fit perfect and they give a hint to what's under the bonnet for those in the know!

just a few snap shots so far but i have worked as a car photographer in the past so when they come they'll be good ones!

how are you finding your capri? i've just bought someones finished project and i'm loving it. kind of weird not having a big list of jobs to do but amazing to just enjoy the driving for once.

let's have another shot with a wheel in then. they're proving surprisingly popular.

apparently they were bought brand new and not been refurbed. no idea where he got them from but they've got a nice satin centre with a super shiny lip. maybe the reason they've never caught my eye is that the ones on granadas always look totally shagged and these ones are mint.
