BaileyMex Posted June 11, 2011 Report Posted June 11, 2011 just sat down after a good day Spent most of the day at the bodyshop, Glen was helping me take the engine out of the Mex, Mind you it does take a while to milk a cow hey Glen Got the engine out and found the ring gear on the flywheel had got damaged when my old starter threw a hissy fit at boxhill last year, Decided to take the flywheel off to get the ring gear changed and a fooking flywheel bolt snapped off Anyway, engine cleaned up almost ready for a re paint, Just had a lovely Chicken Shish and now ready for a Stella, and looking forward to Bromley tomorrow Anyone else had a good/bad day?
Tall paul Posted June 11, 2011 Report Posted June 11, 2011 Ive had a good day, its my birthday on monday so the wifes spoilt me rotten Had a full english this morning then went Go Karting and then had a lovley pic nic with all the family and now about to go shopping with my birthday money for Pinto goodies and Bromley tomorrow, love it

fieldy1972 Posted June 11, 2011 Report Posted June 11, 2011 had to got to work in Norbury today. raced home, cleaned , polished and put £10 worth of fuel in the escort and went for a drive and meet at Brighton marina. i still go on a subaru forum and met up with them. about 17 imprezas and me flying the old skool flag in the mk2 . good bunch of lads and lasses . turned a few heads driving back home. oh and nearly forgot.................just had haddock , chips and mushy peas.
